People style their names and bios every day: a cursive name on Instagram, a gothic nickname in a game, a few stars around a display name. Most fancy text sites are slow on a phone, full of ads, and leave you guessing which styles will show up as boxes.

Thumbs Text puts the box first. Type once, see your text in about 100 styles, and tap one to copy it. There are no ads and no sign-up, nothing is uploaded, and it keeps working in airplane mode. Here’s how we keep it private.

We’re testing every style on real phones, old and new, so we can tell you honestly where each one works.

Thumbs Text is part of the Thumbs family, with Thumbs Photo for photos and Thumbs PDF for documents.
